Margaret Osborne


Dr Margaret Osborne is a Registered Psychologist experienced in treating adolescents and adults with various personal, performance, school and workplace issues.

Margaret completed her BPsych(Hons) at Macquarie University in 1998, and registered as a psychologist in 2002. In 2008 she completed her PhD thesis entitled "Music Performance Anxiety in Young Musicians: Conceptualisation, Phenomenology, Assessment and Treatment" at the University of Sydney, with numerous ground-breaking international publications. She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), the Australian Association for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MAACBT), and the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (MASRC).

In addition, Margaret is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Universty of Melbourne and has a special interest in performance anxiety and music psychology.
